Hospitality

Let mutual love continue.
Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers,
for by doing that
some have entertained angels without knowing it.
(Hebrews 13:1,2)

It was over table fellowship that Jesus revealed the reality of the Kingdom, or Reign, of God. All were welcomed, especially those unlikely ever to share a meal with a rabbi (which Jesus was considered to be). By Jesus’ words and actions at the table both religious and social barriers were dropped. Human need for fellowship, warmth, companionship and support were met by God’s love for all people.

We here at All Saints’ Parish consider hospitality to be a ministry of God, not just when you arrive at our door, but at all the “tables” where you will find yourself: the table of worship, as well as the tables of fellowship following our worship services, and throughout our various ministries week by week.

When newcomers are asked why they chose to join All Saints’ the answer inevitably is because of the warm welcome they received here.

Check out our “Ministry/Events” page often to see the various activities which do and will take place here…. from Bible Studies to Healing Services, to Monday afternoon board and card games, to dinners out and excursions to fun places and events in the community, we revel in God’s Spirit as we love one another with mutual love. We have fun being together!

If you are looking for a Christian community that sees loving the stranger, and one another, as a joyful, spiritual event, then you will be welcome here!
