Restoration Work
Jane Hunter, local artist and parishioner, has been painstakingly restoring some damaged wall decoration in the nave of the church near the side entrance. She has been lovingly doing this after services on Sunday and whenever she finds extra time. Currently, she is working very hard to match the metallic look of the gold paint. When you are next at church, please take the time to admire Jane’s work and to offer a word of encouragement.

There cannot be too much attention to fine detail

The scope of the project was significant

Each stroke of the brush must be applied meticulously and carefully

Extensive restoration was needed due to the incursion of water through the bell-tower

One of the earliest days of the project

But the result is worth the effort!

A beautiful job done well!
